Join Us for The Summer of IMPACT!
This summer, IMPACT Learning Center is excited to offer The Summer of IMPACT — a fun, community-centered series of one-hour classes taught by local student volunteers.
These classes are designed to be lighthearted, creative, and welcoming for a variety of age groups. From hands-on activities to creative hobbies and simple skill-building, each class gives our student teachers the chance to lead while giving community members a chance to learn, connect, and enjoy something new.
We would love to see people of all ages take part — especially our senior adults who may enjoy a fun outing, a new activity, or the chance to connect with younger generations in our community.
Each class description will include the recommended age group, date, time, and any important details. Classes will last approximately one hour.
For safety and supervision purposes, children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult during the class. Parents, grandparents, and caregivers are welcome to stay, participate, and enjoy the activity too!
Whether you are coming to learn, create, visit, or simply try something different, we hope you will join us for The Summer of IMPACT.

impact & tech goes home partnership
IMPACT Learning Center is proud to partner with Tech Goes Home to offer free digital skills classes for Jackson County residents beginning this summer.
Through this partnership, IMPACT will provide hands-on technology classes designed to help participants build confidence using computers, online tools, workplace technology, and everyday digital resources. Whether someone is brand new to technology, needs a refresher, wants to improve job skills, or simply wants to feel more comfortable using today’s digital tools, these classes are designed to meet learners where they are and help them move forward.
The Summer Semester will begin the week of June 1st and continue through Monday, July 20. Classes will be offered on different days and times throughout the week to help meet the needs of working adults, seniors, job seekers, and community members.
All classes are free of charge, but participants must register in advance by signing up through our website at impactlearningcenter.org or by calling IMPACT Learning Center to have their name added to the class list.
Participants who successfully complete their full course will receive a Certificate of Completion from IMPACT Learning Center and a Chromebook from Tech Goes Home.
To receive the certificate and Chromebook, participants must attend each class from beginning to end and complete the full course requirements.
Our Class Schedule and links to sign up are below!
Class availability, schedules, and registration details will be announced as each semester opens.
