Director
Amanda Sparks is a lifelong advocate for community, education, and local economic growth in Jackson County. A graduate of Pisgah High School and Northeast Alabama Community College, she brings strong local roots and broad professional experience to her role as Director of IMPACT Learning Center, a position she assumed in December 2025.
Prior to joining IMPACT, Amanda served as CEO and Marketing Director for Rainbow Cinemas, LLC, where she became widely known throughout the community as “the movie lady” from Hollywood 10 Cinema in Scottsboro. In that role, she actively promoted locally owned businesses, community initiatives, and meaningful partnerships across the county.
Amanda has a long history of civic involvement and service. She served as Vice Chair for the City of Scottsboro on the Mountain Lakes Chamber of Commerce from 2021 to 2025 and continues to serve with the United Givers Fund of Jackson County, supporting efforts that strengthen families and community resources.
Through IMPACT Learning Center, Amanda works to connect residents of all ages with opportunities that encourage learning, career growth, and informed participation in the community. Her focus remains on strengthening Jackson County by investing in its people.
Amanda considers Scottsboro her hometown and Jackson County her home, though she currently resides in Guntersville. She married her husband, Josh, in October 2025 and is the proud mother of two daughters, Elizabeth and Emma, a son-in-law, Seth, and a stepson, Lucas. When she isn’t serving her community, Amanda enjoys all things Queen and Dolly Parton.
