IMPACT partners with local employers to support recruitment, hiring, workforce connections, and community engagement. Whether you’re filling open positions or looking for new ways to connect with job seekers, we’re here to help.

IMPACT Learning Center offers local employers a convenient, professional space to host hiring events and connect directly with job seekers. We have successfully partnered with companies including Mohawk in Bridgeport, Chick-fil-A, Courtyard Cucina, Harbor Freight, and TJ Maxx to support recruitment efforts right here in Jackson County.
Our hiring events are designed to make the process easier for both employers and applicants. IMPACT provides access to a fully equipped computer lab for companies that require online applications, along with staff support to help keep the event organized, assist with applicant flow, and create a welcoming experience from start to finish.
The results speak for themselves. During a three-day Harbor Freight hiring event, more than 100 applicants came through IMPACT, helping the company open its new store fully staffed. At a Mohawk hiring event, more than 20 applicants participated, with 7 individuals hired on the spot that day.
IMPACT can also help employers promote their hiring events through our social media platforms and, when available, our digital billboard network to help increase awareness and drive attendance.
Whether a company is hiring for a few positions or staffing an entire location, IMPACT is ready to work alongside employers to create a recruitment event that is organized, accessible, and built for results.

IMPACT Learning Center helps connect employers with job seekers throughout Jackson County by hosting and supporting career fairs designed for a variety of workforce needs. Our events include opportunities for employers seeking skilled workers, entry-level employees, and high school students preparing to enter the workforce.
We work closely with the Jackson County EDA, Alabama Department of Workforce, and Mountain Lakes Chamber of Commerce to help plan, promote, and host these events, creating stronger connections between employers and potential employees across the county.
Through coordinated promotion on social media, digital billboards, newspapers, and community outreach, we work to ensure each event reaches a broad audience of job seekers and provides employers with meaningful opportunities to meet qualified candidates.
Employers are encouraged to participate, showcase available positions, build relationships with future employees, and become part of a larger effort to strengthen Jackson County’s workforce.

IMPACT Learning Center also works directly with local employers to help share current job openings and connect businesses with qualified applicants. Employers are encouraged to contact us when they have positions available so we can help expand the reach of those opportunities throughout Jackson County.
We can promote available positions through our social media channels and community networks, while also reviewing our existing contacts and forwarding resumes from qualified applicants who may be a good fit for the employer’s needs.
IMPACT also works closely with our partners at the Alabama Department of Workforce to help strengthen recruitment efforts and connect employers with effective, job-ready candidates.
Our goal is to make the hiring process easier by helping employers reach more people, identify potential applicants, and build stronger connections with the local workforce.

IMPACT Learning Center believes the strongest workforce solutions are built through collaboration with the businesses and industries we serve. We value opportunities to meet with local employers, participate in HR discussions, and hear directly from industry leaders about the skills, qualities, and training they need from today’s workforce.
By partnering with IMPACT, businesses can help shape the way we prepare job seekers, students, and current employees for success. Employer feedback helps us better understand workforce needs and allows us to develop or connect people with training opportunities that support professional growth, strengthen workplace skills, and help businesses retain a more prepared workforce.
We also welcome opportunities to provide customized training, employee development, career-readiness support, and other educational resources based on the needs of local employers.
IMPACT loves partnering with businesses throughout Jackson County because when employers, educators, and community organizations work together, everyone benefits — businesses gain stronger employees, individuals gain better opportunities, and our entire community grows stronger.
