IMPACT Learning Center offers a variety of free classes designed to make learning practical, welcoming, and accessible to people throughout Jackson County. Our class offerings change throughout the year and include hands-on community activities, foundational technology instruction, digital skills, career-focused learning, and professional development opportunities.
Whether someone wants to learn a new skill, become more comfortable with technology, explore a creative interest, or build knowledge that can support employment and career growth, IMPACT provides a place to learn without the barrier of tuition or class fees.

CLASSES AT IMPACT
Learning does not always have to feel like work. IMPACT’s Fun Classes give community members opportunities to connect, create, and try something new in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Offerings may include crafts, games, seasonal activities, creative workshops, and other engaging community experiences. These classes are offered free of charge and are designed for participants of varying ages and experience levels
Tech Goes Home classes help participants build confidence using technology and strengthen the digital skills needed for everyday life, education, and employment. Through supportive, hands-on instruction, participants learn how to use digital tools more comfortably and safely. Class topics may include computer basics, internet use, Google tools, online communication, and other essential technology skills.
Tech Goes Home classes are offered free of charge through IMPACT’s partnership with Thrive Regional Parthership and Tech Goes Home.
IMPACT Certificate Pathway Classes provide practical, skill-based learning for individuals who want to strengthen their résumés, improve their workplace abilities, or prepare for continued education and career opportunities. Topics may include digital skills, Microsoft Office, Canva, marketing, website design, career readiness, and other professional or technology-focused subjects.
Classes are offered free of charge, and participants may receive a certificate of completion when program requirements are met.
