Jackson County Education Foundation

The 21st Century Council helped establish the Jackson County Education Foundation (JCEF). The foundation's mission is to provide assistance in the classroom. Proceeds from JCEF's annual fundraiser , JAZZ ON THE PLANTATION, are matched by grant money from Alabama Power. JCEF awards grants to public school teachers to benefit students.

Three Arts Education Foundation

The "Three Arts Education Foundation" was established to enhance and advance the education of students in the Scottsboro City School System. Emphasis is on English, Arts, and Sciences, as well as other areas.  The Three Arts Foundation has established extra-curricular activities in French, Spanish, Math Initiatives, and Study Skills.
